Our clients wanted to create an outdoor area that they could link to their internal bar.

They especially wanted to incorporate a fire bowl that could double as a cooking facility as well for cold winter nights. With this in mind we designed this fire/seating area that would provide a space worthy of entertaining in.

The area was considered a bit of a dead area and wasn’t functional at all, because of the slope. So it was the perfect area for us to get creative.
Using materials that would stand up to the elements, and also complement their house, we decided to use Spotted gum decking for the seating, Granite tiles and Stone cladding to the underside of the seats.

Soft lighting and gabion walls were also added to help with the WOW factor.

Access due to the slope and location in the backyard made the logistics of getting materials in and out a little more challenging, but think you’ll agree the outcome was well worth the effort.
